Managing diabetes can be overwhelming.. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been diabetic for 6 months or 60 years, the 24 hour lifestyle makes ANY one wish that they could just “clock out”. But we all know that that’s impossible. BUT what is possible is to create a more organized, all in one, in the palm of your hands, personalized “Diabetic Notebook”.
MY DIABETIC NOTEBOOK!
Personally notebooks, journals, calendars, planners, and so one have been my primary source of organizing and motivating myself. After 4ish years of creating every kind of yearly notebook, journal prompt, weekly AND monthly calendars, to do lists, and so on and so forth I think you get the idea that I am ALWAYS writing everything that’s on my mind onto some sort of physical form that is accessible. So WHY NOT create my personal diabetic notebook!
Step 1: Choosing your style inside your notebook
This could be all one type of notebook or you can have as many types of notebook forms as you please.
Some options are: 1.Cornell 2. Outlining 3. Mapping 4. Charting & 5.Sentence
Now, whatever is most suitable and satisfying to you, you could either have pages that are blank, lined, bullet, or sectioned. I would advise to choose how you want to layout each page as you pick your page topics. (Remember this for later)
Step 2: Add to cart>Purchase items>DIY your notebook!
Where to begin!?! Don’t worry I got you! First, lets start with searching and shopping for everything you want and need in your diabetic notebook..Below I'm going to list my personal favorite stores to purchase any stationery/office items. (No order)
Five Below
Target
Walmart
Shein
Michaels
Amazon
Second, pick your favorite undated and blank notebook. Add highlighters, colored pens, markers, sticky notes, a ruler, stickers, and whiteout! Then proceed to checkout and purchase your diabetic DIY notebook!
Step 3: Choose & Create your index!
REQUIREMENT TO YOUR NOTEBOOK! YOU MUST ADD AN INDEX PAGE ON THE FIRST PAGE INSIDE YOUR NOTEBOOK!! Planning what you want on each page, where you want it, and how many pages you will need for it will make the process a lot smoother and more clear down the road. I promise!
Now the fun part begins! Below I will list all my favorite categories/lists to add to your notebook! I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE FIRST EVER DIABETIC NOTEBOOK!
